Can I return/exchange my product?

Each product is uniquely handcrafted by our master artisans, and once sold, we're unable to take a return or exchange on the product(s), unless incorrect or damaged. 

How can I place an exchange/refund request against an incorrect/ damaged product?

If you've received an incorrect or a damaged product(s), then please get in touch with us at or call us at 7371047865 within 3 business days of receipt of the product(s). We will do our best to replace your product(s) if you'd like a replacement or fully refund your order value to your account.

How long will it take to replace my damaged product?

Once a replacement/refund request has been raised, we will arrange for a pick-up of the purchased product(s) through our logistics partners. Once we have received and accessed the product to ensure that the product(s) is unused,  returned in the same condition as received, in its original packing along with the tags intact, your replacement product(s) will be dispatched within 3-4 business days for products in stock. However, please note that replacements are subject to availability of stock. In case a replacement is not available, we will fully refund your order value to your account.

How long will it take to get my refund?

The credit process will be initiated once we have received and assessed the product(s). Account credit is typically processed in less than 10 business days.

Do you deliver to my location?

We are currently shipping to all major cities and towns in India. However, if you are ordering from a remote location, please reach out to us at to confirm whether deliveries are currently carried out in your area. If you are located in an area which is not within the delivery network recognized by our logistics partner, we may not be able to process your order at this time. 

Is there a minimum order value?

There is no minimum order value. You can add any product to your cart and we'll work on delivering your product at the earliest.

Is there a delivery charge?

We are currently offering free shipping all over India on all orders. 

How can I pay for my purchases?

You can make online payments using UPI, net banking or your PayTM wallet using our PayTM payment gateway. Once you have added your favorite items to the shopping cart, click on 'Process Checkout' and 'Pay Now' to view all the payment methods currently supported by the website.

I just completed my payment. How will I get my receipts?

Once your payment is completed, an order confirmation email with your receipt will be sent to your registered email id within 30 mins of placing the order. Receipts and invoices for all your orders will also be available to download from the 'My Account' section on the website.

I have some delivery instructions. Where can I provide them?

Please ensure that you provide correct, complete and accurate shipping address details along with landmarks, if any, to aid timely delivery. Any specific delivery instructions (i.e. 'if out, leave with neighbour' or 'round back of house' etc) should be communicated to us via email at 

How can I cancel my order?

You can choose to cancel your order before it's dispatched from our warehouse. Please email If your request is accepted, your money will be credited to your bank account used at the time of purchase. If any promotional discount was applied at the time of purchase, you will only be credited for the original order value.

When can I expect my order to arrive?

Once your order is confirmed, it is usually dispatched within 3-4 business days for products in stock. Custom-made orders may take upto 30 days for us to design and dispatch. Under normal circumstances, products are delivered within 5-7 days of dispatch. 

How can I track my order?

Once a purchased product(s) is successfully dispatched from our warehouse, you will receive a dispatch email confirmation which includes a shipment tracking number. You can get real-time delivery updates by using the tracking number on our logistics partner Delhivery's website.

Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timelines I was provided?

While we along with our logistic partners, Delhivery, make every effort to ensure a timely delivery, unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, government's guidelines for your region or other COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, may cause unexpected delays in delivery. We try our best to proactively communicate any delays in delivery via your registered email account and/or mobile number. How do I take care of my Shilpgram products?

To ensure ideal garment care, dry-clean your Madhubani sarees and stoles (both cotton and tussar silk) to retain the vibrancy of the colors for years. Sikki art-work, stone sculptures and other home decor items can be cleaned with a clean and damp cloth. Specific care instructions are also included in the respective descriptions of the product pages.

Will my hand-painted apparel be exactly as depicted?

While we make every effort to depict and describe your apparel with accuracy, the actual colors may vary slightly from what appears on your screen. Uniqueness is in the beauty of hand-painted designs and while designs aren't exactly identical, they provide an accurate description of the final product. 

Does my saree come with a blouse?

All our sarees come with an attached blouse piece. The blouse worn by the model is for representational purposes only.

What is Shilpgram Mahila PC?

An initiative of Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society (BRLPS), Shilpgram Mahila Producer Company Limited was incorporated with the sole objective of enhancing the financial sustainability of rural women artisans through improved marketing, design, and capacity-building support. Headquartered in Darbhanga, Shilpgram is collectively-owned and run by its 500 women member artisans spread across the nearby districts of Darbhanga, Madhubani, and Muzaffarpur. 

Who is making my products?

All the products are intricately designed by master craftswomen, practicing Madhubani, Bawan buti, Sujni and Sikki art forms for generations.  Shilpgram is dedicated to encouraging and promoting the traditional handcrafting skills of Bihar and bringing its unique, exquisite creations to customers all over the world.
