This tussar silk saree is 100% handmade by rural women artisans in Mithila, Bihar who have been practicing the Madhubani art form for generations. Each saree is intricately designed to perfection and takes 20 days to produce.  

Design

This saree depicts scenes from Radha Krishna Leela in Nidhivan on the pallu, with intricate detailing of peacocks on the border which form the identity of Mithila and are considered auspicious.
